Pre-wedding Shoot at Pembroke Lodge

We headed back to Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park for Andrea and Mike’s pre-wedding shoot. The weather was overcast and the light flat, but we otherwise enjoyed a really good shoot with the couple.

Later in August, Andrea and Mike’s wedding is at Hampton Court House – which will be another first for us – and we are very much looking forward to photographing their day.

Wedding Photography at Amberley Castle, Sussex

Wedding image of couple walking in Amberley Castle grounds (bright sunshine).

Amberley Castle in Sussex was the destination for Maya and George’s wedding. The 900 year old castle (boasting a working portcullis) is located just outside of Arundel; and is now a privately- owned luxury country house hotel. The couple enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon in the sun; and later enjoyed fireworks and a Goth-themed party. Although we were in constant battle with the very contrasty conditions,  it’s a fantastic venue for weddings and photography.

Hannah and Neil’s Wedding – Lanwades Hall

One of the great aspects of wedding photography is visiting lots of new picturesque places over all the south east. Last month we travelled to Suffolk for Hannah and Neil’s wedding near Newmarket.  After the service at St Mary’s church, the couple enjoyed a lovely reception at Lanwades Hall.

This venue is in the style of a tudor manor house  - built after the winnings of the 1898 Derby!  And now it is the home of the Animal Health Trust (hosting wedding receptions on weekends is a new venture for the Trust). It boasts a lovely sunken garden and generally lends itself to a nice relaxed and intimate atmosphere.  It was great to see Hannah and Neil enjoy such a fabulous day in the sunshine, and we are looking forward to showing them the full set of images.
