Mario Acerboni Creative Wedding Photographer of the Year 2012

We were delighted to learn that, for the fourth consecutive year, Gary has won the Mario Acerboni Creative Wedding Photographer of the Year Award (UK South East Region). His winning entry was based on 3 images taken from Shareen and Tim’s wedding last summer. The wedding ceremony took place at 1 Great George Street in central London, but the final image was shot late at night at the Albert Embankment (to take advantage of the Houses of Parliament in the background).

This award – sponsored by Italian Album maker, Mario Acerboni - is open to members of the Master Photographers Association and the British Insititute of Professional Photographers.  London Wedding Photographer Gary collects his Award on 14 October at the Master Photography Awards at the Newcastle Hilton.

Penshurst Place Wedding Photography – Hollie and Jonathan

We were back on the road to Kent again for another midweek wedding. This time it was Hollie and Jonathan’s wedding at Penshurst Place near Tunbridge Wells.  The couple are now based in Los Angeles and involved in the dance/arts/production industries there (no surprise that they value wedding photography and were easy to photograph!).

Penshurst Place itself was new to us and a very pleasant surprise.  The venue describes itself as a perfect preserved example of a fortified manor house; and whilst its grandeur does stand out (see the doorway shot below), it is the 11 acres of beautiful gardens that really impressed us as photographers. We are looking forward to some more wedding photography at Penshurst Place soon.
