Wedding Photography at Ingatestone Hall – Liz and Paul

Ingatestone Hall was another  discovery this season. After passing through the hands of eighteen generations of the same family, the Tudor Hall continues to be privately owned Рbut made available for weddings and visitors in the summer.

It’s a really charming venue which lends intimacy to small weddings. Liz and Paul celebrated their wedding at Ingatestone earlier in September, in glorious sunshine. I am grateful to Bucks Wedding Photographer Gary Smith, for helping as a second shooter for this wedding.

Sarah and James at Wisborough Green, Sussex

Sarah and James’s wedding at the beginning of the month took place at St Peter Ad Vincula church in Wisborough Green. Afterwards they enjoyed a fabulous and relaxed reception at Crabtree Farm (the home of James’s parents) centred around some spectacular teepee tents.

James Рalso a photographer Р is moving to Barbados with Sarah, charged with the exciting objective of setting up a new wing of a photographic agency. We really enjoyed photographing their wedding day and wish them both well in their new venture abroad.

Jaclyn and James – Hartsfield Manor Wedding Photography

We returned to Hartsfield Manor for another midweek wedding at the end of August.

Wedding couple sat on the stairs at Hartsfield Manor embracing. Lit by big window.

Jaclyn and James were married at St Peter’s Church in Walton on the Hill before enjoying a sun-blessed afternoon reception at Hartsfield. The bagpipes added another layer to the lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We are looking forward to showing the couple the full set of images.

Leeds Castle Wedding Photography – Lucy and Dean

We have enjoyed many great family days out at Leeds Castle admiring the spectacular views, so we were very much looking forward to photographing Lucy and Dean’s wedding at this historic venue. And very predictably for this summer, it rained (and rained some more), but I love moody skies (and so do, I hope, my clients!).

Photographing in a potentially busy public setting didn’t pose too much of a problem either – and that’s partly down to some very helpful and efficient staff at Leeds Castle (in the Maiden’s Tower).
